Return to Performance (RTP) Program

The Physiomoves Return to Performance (RTP) program is an individualized, sport-specific, Physiotherapist-led program. It is designed to help competitive and recreational athletes reach their performance goals through a blend of Physiotherapy and Strength & Conditioning. The RTP program delivers a high quality, objective and structured approach to training athletes.

Our goal is movement first and injury prevention through detailed assessment, program development, and coaching from a Physiotherapy perspective.

When?

The Physiomoves RTP program intakes athletes several times per year, and there is often a waitlist with each intake session.

Who?

Any competitive or recreational athlete who has suffered an injury and wants to regain their sports performance and reach the next level, while reducing future injury risk. It is also catered for those who are willing to go the extra mile in their recovery process, with access to our Online App for guided rehab and correspondence with your provider away from the clinic.

What Does It Include?

  • A comprehensive physical assessment of mobility, strength and performance including access to the VALD ForceDecks.
  • An individualized program in a fully equipped gym based on assessment findings, athlete’s sport and performance goals.
  • Individualized programming to perform away from the clinic through the Everfit App.
  • Each session will be delivered and progressed by a registered Physiotherapist from Physiomoves
  • Treatment, including manual therapy, IMS and taping will be provided during the sessions as needed.

Cost?

Fees:  The program will be administered by a registered Physiotherapist. At present, there is one option available:

  • One-on-one sessions: $130/45minutes or $160/hour

*Please note, our late cancellation/no show fee for RTP sessions is 50% of the session fee.

**This Program is not for those looking for Personal Training, please inquire at brettwillows.grassroots@gmail.com or GrassRoots Training if interested in Strength and Conditioning in the absence of injury.

Scheduling: There are several physiotherapists working a variety of schedules which means we can accommodate before-school, mid-day, and after-school sessions.
