We treat every client as a unique individual, and customize intervention plans based on current research and proven treatment approaches. Our team of Physiotherapists and Massage Therapists bring passion and a variety of expertise to meet all the needs of our growing community. We are dedicated to keeping up to date on the latest research and equipment and sharing our knowledge with clients. We strive to provide the best treatment possible, and we are proud of our reputation as one of the leading physiotherapy clinics in the Lower Mainland.
We’re here to help you “move your body better”.
Our Physiotherapists are primary health care professionals that combine their in-depth knowledge of the body and how it works with specialized hands-on clinical skills to assess, diagnose and treat a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
Involves the use of a mechanical traction table to apply a sustained or intermittent distracting force to the patient's neck or lower back. This treatment is used to reduce symptoms related to nerve compression and muscular tension.
Our Registered Massage Therapists are health care professionals committed to restoring and maintaining optimal health for their patients. They are educated to assess and treat using techniques such as manual therapy, joint mobilization, rehabilitative exercise and patient education.
Improve comfort, reduce the likelihood of overuse injuries, and increase cycling performance from a bike fitting session from one of our Certified Bike Fitters.
Our Kinesiologists use therapeutic exercise and education to help patients reach goals such as improved fitness and health, weight loss, and injury recovery.
Our Titleist Performance Institute Certified Physiotherapist will do a video analysis of your swing and take you through a detailed Physical Golf Screen to identify any limitations in your mobility and stability.
Intramuscular Stimulation is a dry needling treatment for chronic pain and muscle tightness. IMS relieves the pain that arises in muscles when the nerves, which supply those muscles, become dysfunctional.
Vestibular rehabilitation is a form of treatment provided by a physiotherapist for patients suffering from dizziness and balance problems.
This ancient form of Chinese medicine involves the insertion of thin, flexible needles into the skin at specific points in the body to restore the flow of qi, balance the body’s energy, stimulate healing, and promote relaxation. It is commonly used to treat chronic pain, arthritis, tension headaches, and a variety of other conditions.
We have several Physiotherapists with specialized training to treat concussion related symptoms (e.g. headaches, dizziness, visual disturbances, memory impairment, difficulties concentrating, sleep disturbances, etc.) and to help patients return to their occupation, studies, or sports.
The Physiomoves High Performance (HP) program is an individualized, sport specific, Physiotherapist-led program. It is designed to help young athletes reach their performance goals through a blend of Physiotherapy and Strength & Conditioning. The HP program will deliver a high quality, objective and structured approach to training athletes that can be billed via 3rd Party Insurers.
I highly recommend this clinic to everyone! Each staff member at Physiomoves have never made me feel less than welcomed, especially Laura and Grace at reception. Tyler is super knowledgable and goes about rehabilitation carefully with your best interests in mind. Barry and Dave are also wonderful and very thorough. I love coming to this office and happily travel from Delta to Surrey just because the service and level of care is so good.
