Massage Therapy


Kenny web 2016 453x640A native of St. John’s Newfoundland, Kenny previously worked as a Diabetes Medical Sales Representative and in 2013 became a graduate from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy’s 3000 hour program. Kenny’s passion is working with people and helping them with their rehabilitation. He enjoys deep tissue work and utilizing various techniques such as myofascial release and trigger point release. Using these treatment methods combined with passive/active movements, his goal as your massage therapist is to restore optimum function and movement throughout the body. Kenny also places a strong focus on continuing education especially in the fields of myofascial release, repetitive stress disorders, and anatomy. He has recently achieved certifications in the following: 

- Ligamentous Articular Strain Technique Shoulder Complex
- Ligamentous Articular Strain Technique Lower Limb
- Biodynamic Myofascial Mobilization of the Cervical Spine

Kenny has volunteered as a therapist for numerous athletic events, such as the Whistler Gran Fondo, and the North Vancouver Knee Knacker Trail Race.

Outside of massage therapy, Kenny enjoys spending time with his two children and training for endurance sports. Kenny has participated in numerous events including the Oliver Half Ironman, Xterra triathlon, and 5 Peaks trail running series.

Kenny is available Mondays 7am-1pm, Tuesdays 1-7pm, Wednesdays 7-1pm and Thursdays 1-7pm at the Physiomoves Ocean Park Clinic.

Registered Massage Therapist

IMG 4964 451x640Dave Gifford graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2002. Since then, he's always remained active within the massage therapy profession. Over his years of practice, he has honed in his treatment focus on the cases and issues that are most prevalent in our community. Dave's areas of expertise are:
• Athletic/Sports Massage
• Pre and Post Natal Massage
• Workplace Stress, Headaches, and Ergonomic Issues
• I.C.B.C. Claimants
He has also taken time to gather experience with the geriatric community, multiple sclerosis patients, workplace ergonomic set-ups, and the University of British Columbia athletic teams.
Dave's approach has always been to have the client's best interest in mind. His years of experience providing treatment have taught him which techniques are appropriate for each client's needs, resulting in effective health care with less post treatment pain.
Techniques Dave may use during treatment include, but are not limited to:
• Active Release Therapy

• Sports Petrissage
• Trigger Point Therapy
• Systemic Deep Tissue Therapy
• Joint Mobilizations
Dave was born, raised, and currently resides in the White Rock area. In his leisure time, he enjoys cycling, snowboarding and travelling.

Dave is available for Registered Massage Therapy appointments at the Panorama Clinic Monday through Thursday.


Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

EkdeepEkdeep Sekhon was in the Sport Science program at Douglas when she found interest in pursuing registered massage therapy. She is a graduate of the Registered Massage Therapy Program at CDI College. She’s always had a passion for helping improve physical and emotional health and commits to providing the best care for her patients.
Ekdeep’s areas of expertise are:
• Trigger point release
• Myofascial Release
• Athletic/Sports Treatment
• Joint Mobilization
• Active release
With experience treating a wide demographic of patients, from young children up to senior citizens, Ekdeep's goal is to help improve mobility, reduce pain, and improve mental awareness.Ekdeep also has experience working with athletes. She especially enjoyed working with the Fiji national rugby team when they came to Vancouver for Rugby Sevens World Series in 2016. 
Through the Fraser Health Authority, she’s currently volunteering with SEHAT, an organization who helps increase awareness in our community about nutritional facts in foods that we consume. Their goal is to improve overall health and promote a healthy lifestyle. Ekdeep is currently working on her pre-requisites to apply for a nursing program in the near future, but will continue to work as a Registered Massage Therapist.
She loves spending time exploring BC, hiking, sports, catching up on Netflix shows. In the future I would love to travel more of, Europe, Australia, Philippines, South America and Thailand.

Ekdeep is available for Registered Massage Therapy appointments on Fridays and Saturdays.
