Sabrina grew up in South Surrey and played many sports throughout her youth and teenage years before completing her Bachelor of Kinesiology and Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. During her time at UBC she worked as a student athletic trainer with the UBC Thunderbirds Women’s Basketball Team, an experience that solidified her desire to pursue a career in physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Sabrina has experience working with a variety of conditions, including post-surgical, neurological, as well as orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries. She has a special interest in sport-related injuries but is equally passionate about helping people from all walks of life. Sabrina currently holds her Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Level 1 Diploma from the CPA Orthopaedic Division. She believes that treatment should always be evidence-based and structures her sessions using a combination of education, manual therapy, and personalized exercises. She also firmly believes that recovery is optimized when clients feel empowered in their care, and she strives to provide every client with their own unique set of tools to succeed.
Aside from Physiomoves, Sabrina works in the Acute Care Units at Peace Arch Hospital. Outside of work, you can find her playing basketball, snowboarding, training for her next running event, or in a game of flag football – her newest passion. Sabrina is also fluent in Mandarin.
Sabrina is very excited to be back in the community she grew up in and looks forward to helping you reach your goals!
