B.H.K. (Human Kinetics)
Nicole Lunde completed her Bachelor of Human Kinetics with a focus in Clinical Exercise Physiology from University of British Columbia Okanagan. She is SportMedBC Athletic Taping certified and is currently pursuing her Functional Movement Systems certification (FMS).
During her time at UBCO, Nicole worked in a Pediatric Exercise Physiology Research lab studying the impacts of prolonged sitting and exercise on brain health in children and young adults. Outside of school, she also spent time with Interior Health’s Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program as well as the City of Kelowna’s Community Access Match program. In these programs, Nicole worked with COPD, stroke, and Parkinson’s Disease affected patients to improve their cardiorespiratory fitness and help rehabilitate their strength through exercise.
Nicole grew up as a high-performance athlete in White Rock playing volleyball and soccer. Her passion for sports and exercise are what drove her to pursue the field of kinesiology. She is excited to apply exercise and movement science to encourage wellbeing, improve performance, rehab injuries and restore optimal function to patients through active rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic Nicole can be found playing volleyball, skiing, hiking, or paddle boarding at the beach.
Nicole Lunde is available at our Physiomoves Panorama Clinic on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
