B.H.K. (Human Kinetics)

Nicole grew up as a high-performance athlete in White Rock playing volleyball and soccer. Her passion for sports is what drove her to pursue the field of kinesiology. Nicole completed her Bachelor of Human Kinetics and her Masters of Kinesiology at UBC focusing on Clinical Exercise Physiology and Sport Science. During her time at UBC, Nicole was a graduate Strength and Conditioning coach with the Thunderbirds women's ice hockey, football and softball teams. Her directed studies were with the Canadian Sport Institute Pacific in Whistler doing clinical exercise physiology testing with winter sport athletes and she continues to work with CSIP on a contract basis. Nicole also completed training at the Cancer Exercise Training Institute and is now a Cancer Exercise Specialist. With her extensive knowledge of all types of cancer and the treatments/surgeries used during diagnosis, she is able to provide a tailored program in a safe environment to help you recover and manage pain and side effects from treatments. Nicole is excited to apply exercise and movement science to encourage well-being, manage chronic disease, rehab injuries, manage cancer pain/fatigue, and restore optimal function to patients through active rehabilitation. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys getting outside by skiing, hiking, and going to group exercise classes!

Nicole Lunde welcomes clients to the Ocean Park location on Mondays.
