M.P.T. (Master of Physical Therapy), CAFCI (Acupuncture), Cert. Vestibular Rehabilitation, B.Sc. (Kinesiology)
Margherita graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of British Columbia after completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. Since then she has obtained her Certificate of Acupuncture (CAFCI), certification in vestibular rehabilitation for treatment of vertigo, balance and dizziness disorders, as well as ongoing courses in manual therapy.
Margherita enjoys working with diverse clinical populations. She recognizes that each individual, whether an athlete looking to improve precision or power versus someone overcoming chronic pain or acute injury, brings the opportunity to create a meaningful change.
In her approach, Margherita performs a detailed assessment to identify the sources of pain or dysfunction. She integrates manual therapy, acupuncture, education, and exercise prescription/movement retraining to help her clients achieve their goals and to prevent re-injury.
In her spare time Margherita enjoys travelling, hiking, camping and yoga. Her newest interests include golf, skiing and learning the ukulele!
Margherita works on Tuesdays and Thursdays at our Panorama location.
