M.P.T. (Master of Physical Therapy), Cert. Continence & Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation, B.Sc.
Kathy graduated from the University of Victoria in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree and went on to complete her Masters of Physical Therapy in 2006. During her physiotherapy education, Kathy developed a keen interest in women’s health, and was fortunate to work alongside the physiotherapists at BC Women’s Hospital.
After graduation, Kathy became more acutely aware of the importance of pelvic floor health, which led to her obtaining a postgraduate certificate in Continence and Pelvic Floor Re-education. After completing this training, Kathy began working at the Continence Clinic at the Jimmy Pattison Outpatient Care & Surgical Centre helping both women and men with urinary incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction.
Kathy is looking forward to bringing her clinical skills and experience to Physiomoves. She will also continue to pursue postgraduate studies, further evolving her expertise in pelvic floor health and the field of women’s health.
When not at work, Kathy and her husband enjoy an active life with their two young boys, helping them explore all the fun and outdoors that White Rock and the lower mainland have to offer.
