Kristen Pummell B.Sc. Kinesiology, MPT
Kristen has a Kinesiology degree from SFU, and graduated from the Master of Physical Therapy program at the
University
of
British Columbia. She has worked part-time at Physiomoves for the past year and a half
. Her clinical experience and interests include sports, post-orthopedic surgery and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Kristen has completed advanced orthopaedic (manual therapy) levels 1 and 2, and will begin level 3 this fall. She is also completing her acupuncture training this spring.
Kristen has been involved with the Burnaby Lakers Lacrosse Club for over 6 years as head trainer. She is also the head trainer for the Surrey United Firefighter men's metro soccer team. Kristen has volunteered for many other teams and sporting events, including the 2009 World Police and Fire Games, the SFU women’s volleyball team and men’s field lacrosse team, Beach Soccer Blast and the BC High-School Wrestling Championships.
