Christine Campbell - Physiotherapist

Christine Campbell MPTChristine graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors degree in Human Kinetics in 2007. During this time she played and captained the varsity women's field hockey team as well as represented Canada on the international field hockey stage. A highlight of her athletic career was competing at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio Di Janeiro and the 2008 Olympic Qualifier in Victoria, BC. Following her pursuit of the Olympics, she then completed a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of British Columbia in 2010.

Growing up, Christine was constantly on the move, competing at the elite level in gymnastics and soccer. The exposure to athletics and exercise at an early age has helped to develop a keen interest in sports and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Christine's professional goals are to complete the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy levels and to obtain a Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy. Christine has recently achieved her full acupuncture certification through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute and is offering acupuncture to clients at Physiomoves.

Christine's approach to physiotherapy is one that focuses on collaboration with clients while incorporating manual therapy techniques with individualized exercise programs to facilitate healing and allow the client to return to their desired activities.

When Christine isn't working she enjoys everything the BC outdoors has to offer; hiking, camping, skiing and fishing. Christine believes in lifelong activity and thus continues to play field hockey at the recreational level as well as engage in new and challenging activities such as triathlons.
